Ok, try to hold in the guffaws but this is a serious question. My second toe is longer than my big toe so whenever I do a long run, I end up with a bloody toe, toenails falling off and all manner of undesirable things happening. Can anyone offer any practical advice? I’m not looking to hack any parts of my feet off 👍

Slightly larger trainers maybe? You’re meant to wear them a size bigger than normal. Maybe smother your toe in Vaseline? I get blisters under my toe nails which is very painful😫then after a while I lose the nail.
Blisters under your toenails??? Shit, that sounds even worse than my issue. Might try the vaseline though 👍
Don’t lace the bottom rung of your shoes. Gives you more room.
Worked a treat. 5k, no pain at all. Or at least no pain in my toes 👍
Have you thought about cushioned running socks?
Never thought of them, or indeed heard of them. I shall do some googling
Yes my friend got me 5 pairs for Christmas that have extra cushioning around the toes.they’ve been a lot better.....until Sunday!!! My little to is in agony but I suspect all the muddy puddles didn’t help things!!
I buy running shoes a size up from my normal shoe size. 🙂
That's what I'd try 🤔
Muddy then 😁
Muddy shoes but you can see bottom holes not laced 👍🏼
